KELOWNA–The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Victoria Royals 4-2 on Wednesday night.
It was a hard fought game, full of penalty minutes.
The Royals owned the first period, with a couple of unanswered goals.
The Rockets raced back with goals from Chance Braid, Madison Bowey, Leon Draisaitl and Tyson Baillie.
Ex-Royal Michael Herringer earned the win for the Rockets in net.
The Rockets play a pair of games this weekend, beginning Friday night when Kelowna travels to Vancouver to take on the Giants.
They’re back in Kelowna Saturday to host the Calgary Hitmen.
