WINNIPEG – The Winnipeg Blue Bombers hiring Greg Knox to be the club’s new linebackers coach. Knox leaves the McMaster Marauders after serving as their defensive coordinator last season, helping them to an appearance in the Vanier Cup. He replaces Cory McDiarmid who held the position for just one season.
Knox spent nine seasons with McMaster after a seven year playing career in the Canadian Football League. He won two Grey Cups with the Calgary Stampeders and was twice named a CFL all-star.
He is the 12th member of the Blue Bombers coaching staff. They also had 12 coaches on staff in 2014.
