SHUSWAP, B.C. — A gravel road gave way in the Shuswap on Sunday, taking out a summer home in Anglemont Estates. No one was injured in the landslide, but an Emergency Operations Centre has been activated by the Columbia Shuswap Regional District to monitor the situation.
Ministry of Transportation crews have shut down the affected roadway, but there is a detour available for anyone needing to access the area.
The ministry is releasing more details on its work later this afternoon.
