WINNIPEG — Emergency crews responded to a garage fire on Shady Shores Drive East Wednesday night around 8:30 p.m.
Sources tell Global News an occupant of the affected home knocked on a neighbor’s door and told him there was a fire in her garage. He tried to put out the fire but wasn’t able to stop it.
Once crews arrived they were able to stop the flames from spreading to the attached house. Damage was mostly contained to the garage but no official report has been released.
