Manitoba extreme cold warnings ended

WINNIPEG – The bitter cold is settling in once again, just in time for the first day of February.

Winnipeggers woke up to -28C feeling like -37 with the wind chill by 9 a.m. Sunday.

Winnipeg was under an extreme cold warning along with most of the province Sunday morning, but Enviroment Canada has now ended the warnings.

A high of -19C is expected in the city on Sunday. Below normal temperatures are expected to continue throughout the week.
