At 7:15am the whole show goes to the dogs once again as we get a visit from Tristan Flynn, owner of @Jollytails! And we’re pleased to announce you’ll be seeing a lot more of the Certified personal dog trainer on The Morning News in a segment we’re really looking forward to called Dog Talk.

The baby talk doesn’t stop on the show as Paul Brothers is on the hunt for the perfect stroller for his impending bundle of joy. At 7:45am Nancy Rector, owner of Fiddleheads Kids Shop rolls in with some options for new parents.  And the fun doesn’t stop there, tune in to learn more about how you can win a brand new stroller valued at $1000!!!!

Have you ever considered opening your home to an international student?  You may want to after chatting with a woman who says her family loved the experience. At 8:15am we’ll introduce you to Angela Trenholm and Andrea Ashton with the Nova Scotia International Student Program for more on how a new campaign is hoping to “Bring Home the World”.

At 8:45am we’ll tell you about the return of  “Chess with the Doomsday Machine” to Alderney Landing Theatre as part of the CAPACOA [Canadian Presenting Arts Conference] showcases taking place next week. The play focuses on the Iran-Iraq war that started with a surprise attack on Abadan, a city across the river from Basra in Iraq. Global News
