TORONTO – A man has been taken to hospital in Peel region after he jumped out of the rear window of a police car.
Police say the 27-year-old man had been arrested and placed in the back of a police car in connection to a robbery.

He then smashed out the rear window of the cruiser and launched himself out of the moving car.
Police apprehended him again and he has been taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The SIU is now investigating the incident.
