CALGARY- Police are investigating after shots were fired in two separate incidents early on Saturday morning.
The first incident was reported around 12:34 a.m. near the Whitehorn Community Centre in the northeast.
Investigators said a man told them he was approached by two SUVs.
The occupants of both vehicles flashed their headlights at the victim before pointing a laser and flashlight – and then later firing a gun in his direction.
Crews found bullet casings at the scene and bullet holes in a nearby vehicle.
The suspects fled the scene before officers arrived.
Around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, police were called to a second incident in the 6800 blk. of Temple Dr. NE.
Investigators said a woman told them an occupant in a black truck produced a firearm and shot at a nearby vehicle.
Officers are looking for a large black truck in connection with that shooting.
No one was injured in either incident.
