BC Highway 5 northbound at exit 177 at the junction with Highway 3 reopened on Tuesday. It had closed after multiple trees fell onto the road.
Highway 1 also reopened between Highway 9 in Aggassiz and Flood Hope Road after an earlier closure due to fallen rocks.

The Trans Canada Highway is still closed in two separate areas east to Alberta, all due to the threat of avalanches.
A section from Craigellachie to Revelstoke won’t reopen until noon on Wednesday at the earliest.
It’s also shut down in Glacier National Park until 8pm Tuesday.
