Prince Rupert RCMP are looking for those responsible for a New Year’s Day assault.
It happened at approximately 5:25 a.m. at a residence on Hays Vale Drive.
Police say it appears two suspects entered the home during a New Year’s Eve party and bear-sprayed the people inside. One individual has also been shot. The victim was taken to hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
No one has been arrested, but investigators say this was a targeted attack.
They say there is no indication that the public is at risk.
