WINNIPEG — Southern Manitoba is under a special weather statement. An intense weather system is expected to come through Friday night and the system could bring heavy snow up to 15 centimeters. The highest snowfall is expected near the United States border.
The weather system should move off Saturday morning leaving colder than normal temperatures behind.

Winnipeg is expected to miss the heaviest snowfall but it all depends on Friday’s conditions.
