HALIFAX – A Dartmouth man faces a charge of attempted murder after a stabbing that sent another man to hospital.
The 56-year-old victim is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say he was stabbed in the jaw early Sunday morning on Leaman Drive in Dartmouth.
A 26-year-old Dartmouth man was taken into custody about 12 hours after the stabbing.
He also faces a charge of possession of dangerous weapons.
Police say the accused and the victim are known to each other and the incident is not considered random.
