A 39-year-old man accused of assaulting a 24-year-old woman was arrested yesterday in Abbotsford.
The victim, who was not in a relationship with the suspect but knew him, was rushed to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The dramatic takedown of the suspect by Abbotsford Police happened around 3 p.m. on Christmas Day near Dolphin Crescent and Bakerview.
The suspect fled from police, but officers managed to catch him after raiding three homes he was hiding in. He is expected to face charges.
