SASKATOON – Here are civic services, facilities hours and closures during the 2014-15 holiday season in Saskatoon.
City Hall: Closed on Dec. 25, 26 and Jan. 1.
Parking meters: No payment required but motorists must move their vehicles within the time period shown on meters.
Municipal impound lot: NO vehicles will be released to the public on Dec. 25, 26 and Jan. 1.
Landfill: Closed on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1. Open all other days with regular hours – 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Garbage/recycling: Garbage collection on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1 is rescheduled for Dec. 27 and Jan. 3, respectively. Weekly recycling collection will occur Dec. 15 to Jan. 2.
Saskatoon Public Library: Closes at 5 p.m. on Dec. 24 and 31. Closed on Dec. 25, 26 and Jan. 1.
Mendel Art Gallery/Civic Conservatory:
- Dec. 24 and 31: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Christmas Day: Closed
- December 26-30: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Saskatoon Transit: Will operate with regular Sunday/Holiday Service. Transit customer service centre will be closed but phone lines will be available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Access Transit will operate with regular Holiday Service from 8:15 a.m. to 11:45 p.m. Trips must be booked in advance as per normal procedures. Customers are reminded that subscriptions do not apply on statutory holidays.

Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo: Closed on Dec. 25. Regular hours of operation on Dec. 26 and Jan. 1.
Indoor Arenas: Closed on Dec. 25, 26 and Jan. 1.
Clarence Downey Speed Skating: Open Dec. 25 and Jan. 1. Closed Dec. 26 to 28, weather permitting. Call 306-975-3318 for extended holiday hours.
Cosmo Civic Centre: Closed on Dec. 25, 26 and Jan.1. Modified hours of operation from Dec. 24 to 31.
Fitness Circuit & Terry Fox Track: Closed on Dec. 25, 26 and Jan. 1.
Lakewood Civic Centre: Closed on Dec. 25; modified hours on Dec. 24, 26, 31 and Jan. 1. Fitness classes and child minding cancelled on Dec. 26 and Jan 1.
Lawson Civic Centre: Closed on Dec. 25; modified hours for Dec. 24, 26, 31 and Jan. 1.
Saskatoon Field House: Closed on Dec. 25; modified hours for Dec. 24, 26, 31, and Jan. 1. Child minding cancelled Dec. 26. Holiday fitness classes on Dec. 26 and Jan. 1.
Shaw Centre: Closed on Dec. 25; modified hours for Dec. 26 and Jan. 1. All fitness classes and child minding cancelled Dec. 24 and 31.
Harry Bailey Aquatic Centre: Closed on Dec. 25; modified hours for Dec. 24, 26, 31 and Jan. 1. All fitness classes and swim lessons cancelled on Dec. 26.
