Weather update: Tuesday December 23rd 5am
Rain and snow will fall today. Freezing levels will begin near the valley base and then rise to about 800m in the afternoon. Columbia regions will see slightly lower freezing levels and there is the chance for the snow to remain.
We will see partial clearing on tomorrow afternoon in the wake of the system, and a drier and cooler northwesterly flow will be in place for Christmas Day on Thursday, and breaks of sun will be possible.
A low will move into the Southern Interior late Friday and Saturday, and with cooler air in place this time, the precip will fall as snow heading into the weekend.
See you at 5, 6:30 and 11pm tonight!
Today’s daytime high range: 1 to 6C
