Roughriders name Craig Reynolds new President and CEO

REGINA – The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced Tuesday that Craig Reynolds will be the team’s new President and CEO.

Reynolds, from Foam Lake, Sask., has been with the Riders organization since 2009 when he joined the club as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Three years later he was promoted to Senior Vice-President and CFO.

Reynolds was a member of the 2013 Grey Cup Executive Committee and chaired the Operations Committee. In that position he was responsible for all aspects of ticketing, sponsorship, marketing, retail and stadium operations.

Under Reynolds guidance the team’s reserve has grown from $1 million to over $12 million in five years.

The 39-year-old attended the University of Saskatchewan where he received a Bachelor of Commerce and a Masters in Accounting.

Reynolds formerly worked with KPMG in Saskatoon before transferring to the company’s Luxembourg location. In 2003 he moved to England to work for Thomson Scientific in an accounting role before moving back to Saskatchewan to join the Riders.

Reynolds will become the team’s second President and CEO when Jim Hopson steps down from the role in March.
