SASKATOON – Environment Canada is advising people in the southeastern corner of Saskatchewan of freezing drizzle Sunday morning.

Freezing drizzle is expected to change over to flurries Sunday afternoon and into the evening as colder air moves in.

This type of weather advisory is issued when precipitation in sub-zero temperatures is expected to freeze on contact and create icy surfaces over time. The agency is warning motorists to be cautious on highways.
