Heathrow Airport tweeted that flights are experiencing delays because of a power outage at the NATS control centre affecting UK airspace.

NATS, the UK’s main air navigation service provider, confirmed a technical problem was reported at Swanwick air traffic control centre, but said the system has since been restored.

“We are in the process of returning to normal operations. We apologise for any delays and our incident response team has been mobilised,” said a statement on its website.
