REGINA – For the first time ever the Red Bull Kite Farm is coming to Saskatchewan.
The event will be taking place northwest of Regina, just off Highway 11 on February 14th. The location is well known to Saskatchewan kiters for its rolling prairie terrain and 30’ cliff of powder leading into the creek bed.
North American riders will be competing against Saskatchewan talent in a 50km endurance race where the riders will be challenged by natural and man-made features that will test their skills and strength.
This will be a free event for spectators with a snow slide, sleigh rides, food services, concession areas, merchandise tables, heated warm-up tents and multiple bonfires.
The top athletes in both the ski and snowboarding division will win an all-expense paid trip to Norway to represent North America at the Red Bull Ragnarok in April 2015.
