HALIFAX – One person was taken to hospital after a pedestrian-vehicle collision Wednesday morning.
The incident happened just before 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 7 and Panavista Drive near the Sobeys.

RCMP said the pedestrian was crossing the highway in a crosswalk when a vehicle turning left onto the highway struck him.
Ambulances took the 32-year-old man to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Conditions were rainy and dark at the time.
There is no word on whether charges are pending.
