EDMONTON – Two people were injured and sent to hospital Friday morning after a crash in north Edmonton. The two vehicle collision happened around 6 a.m. near 82 Street and 122 Avenue.

“Fire, EMS and police all arrived on scene and there was two people temporarily trapped in each of their vehicles,” said Acting Sgt. Mike Whattam. “Both subjects have injuries. One is a little more severe than the other but nothing life threatening at this time.”

A major collision unit was on scene investigating the incident and several witnesses were interviewed by police. Edmonton police have concluded a Mustang travelled through a stop sign at 122 Avenue as it was travelling north on 82 Street.
