VANCOUVER – A 63-year-old woman from Alberta was airlifted to a Vancouver hospital Wednesday morning after a crash on Highway 101 on the Sunshine Coast.
The crash happened just after 11 a.m. near the 1100-block of Middle Point Road.

A northbound semi had crossed the centre line and hit a southbound car.
The truck flipped over and landed on top of the car in the ditch.
The two people in the truck suffered minor injuries. The woman was conscious when she was taken to hospital but her current condition is unknown.
