Student charged for carrying knife, making threats

SASKATOON – Police have charged a Saskatoon student after staff located a knife in his possession Monday morning.

At around 10:30 a.m., officers were called to the school in the 600-block of Acadia Drive.

Staff members told police the 15-year-old boy had made threats to cause harm. No injuries were reported.

The boy is now facing charges of carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public and uttering threats.

He is scheduled to appear in provincial court Tuesday.
