RCMP and their explosive disposal unit were called to the Kinder Morgan location in Burnaby after receiving a “suspicious package” this morning.
Police arrived and evacuated the site in order to investigate the contents of the package, said Burnaby RCMP Staff Sgt. Andy Leclair.

After examining the package, police said, it was “cleared without incident.”
“Anytime a suspicious package is received at any location and there’s any possible harm to the community, you need to take it seriously,” Leclair told Global News.
