OKANAGAN FALLS – Residents in the small South Okanagan community of Ok Falls have suddenly lost their water.
The local irrigation district says there’s been a major water line break on 10th and Maple street in the lower zone of the District.
The District is working to repair the break but says residents will be without water for most of the day.

Once the repair is complete the District says it will be flushing and disinfecting.
That means the lower zone will be on a Boil Water Advisory.
Drinking water is being made available during the shut down.
Residents can fill their containers at a well site on Commercial Drive off of Oliver Ranch Road.
The District apologizes for any inconvenience.
