CALGARY – RCMP in Red Deer have charged a Calgary man with luring a teen over the internet.
It’s alleged he began communicating with a 14-year-old girl in Red Deer at the beginning of the month.

RCMP launched an investigation after the teen’s caregiver contacted them on October 5th.
RCMP have charged 28-year-old William Joseph Cody Ryan with luring a child over the internet for sexual purposes.
He was arrested in Calgary on Tuesday.
Ryan is expected to appear in court in Red Deer on Friday, October 10th.
