The cat came back, all the way across the country

ABOVE: Oreo joined some well-seasoned travellers in a cross-country voyage.

CALGARY – Oreo’s journey began in Nova Scotia and ended Friday afternoon in Calgary.

The Graves family was moving to Red Deer from the Maritimes.

Oreo escaped when they stopped in White River, Ontario two weeks previous.

Locals helped look for Oreo and on Wednesday he was caught in a live trap.

A diver with Bison Transport heard the story and took Oreo to Winnipeg where another Bison trucker picked him up.

Oreo was finally reunited with his family Friday afternoon at Bison’s offices in Rocky view.
