Toronto road and subway closures this weekend

TORONTO – There will be a number of road and TTC subway closures this weekend.

The Yonge-University-Spadina line will be closed between St. Andrew and Union station on Sept. 13 to 14 for platform construction.

Riders must use the Yonge line to travel to Union Station or use the University line to travel to St Andrew Station.

Meanwhile, several road closures will be in effect due to special events across the city.

Bloor West Village Ukrainian Festival – Friday to Sunday closures
Bloor Street from Jane Street to Glendonwynne Road will be closed from Friday, September 12 at 9:30 a.m. to Sunday, September 14 at 11:59 p.m. Note: Runnymede Road will be open to traffic during the event. A series of other road closures involving local roads will take place in the area to accommodate this event.

Polish Festival – Saturday and Sunday closures
Roncesvalles Avenue from Grafton Avenue to Boustead Avenue will be closed in both directions from Saturday, September 13 at 6 a.m. to Sunday, September 14 at 11 p.m.

Toronto 5K Race – Saturday closure
A series of road closures will take place in the area bounded by St. Clair Avenue to the north, Christie Street to the west, Davenport Road to the south, and Russell Hill Road/Macpherson Avenue to the east on Saturday, September 13 from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
