A forthcoming tell-all book by Rob Ford’s former chief of staff will be published just days before voters pass judgment on Ford’s
bid for a second term as Toronto mayor.
The book by Mark Towhey promises to dish out the “insider” account of working in the mayor’s office as Ford’s official life unravelled in the face of the crack-cocaine and other scandals.
Towhey was fired by Ford last year as the controversy over a video that appeared to show Ford smoking crack exploded — but the
publisher says the former top aide isn’t out to get “revenge” with the book.
It’s due out October 21st — six days before the municipal election.
