At 6:45 we’ll meet the author behind a new book that focuses on the strong bond between dog an human. “Pheobe’s Way” is the story of a Saint John Ambulance dog who works in a seniors home in rural Nova Scotia.

The fight to protect Halifax’s famous Khyber continues and at 7:15 we’ll talk with one of the organizers with the group “Friends of the Khyber” about their last-ditch effort to prevent the building from being sold and torn down.

At 7:45 we’ll talk with well-known entrepreneur Wendy Friedman about her latest venture in the north end of Halifax. The Mercantile opened last weekend and it promises to be a jewel on Gottingen Street full of gift ideas for the home and heart.
