Okanagan Forecast: Drier to Start… Showers for Some Areas This Afternoon

Weather update: Friday August 29th 5am

The start of the last weekend of August will feel more like Fall.

Today, there will be some breaks in the clouds to start, but showers will move into the Columbia and Shuswap later in the day.

There will also be a shower risk for the Okanagan Valley this afternoon, however in general, the farther south you are, the smaller the chance of showers will be in the forecast for you today.

As we head into the weekend, a slight risk of showers will also be in the forecast for Saturday afternoon, but by Monday, the weather pattern will be a lot drier and it will be a few degrees warmer for Labour Day.

Friday’s High: 18 to 26C
