MOSQUITO FIRST NATION, Sask. – Charges will not be laid after a toddler was struck and killed on the Mosquito First Nation in Saskatchewan last month.

A three-year-old girl was hit by a vehicle at a residence on the reserve south of Battleford on July 29.
She died two days later in a Saskatoon hospital from her injuries.
RCMP consulted with the Crown and determined there was no criminal element to the tragic accident.
