2 Toronto men in hospital after stabbings, 1 at Taste of Danforth festival

TORONTO – Two men are in hospital after separate stabbings in Toronto — one at the Taste of the Danforth street festival.

Just before midnight Saturday, a man was knifed more than once during a fight in front of a store (on Danforth Avenue at Carlaw, where the street festival is taking place).

Paramedics took him to Sunnybrook hospital in serious condition.

The other man, who is also at Sunnybrook with serious injuries, was stabbed around the same time (on William Carson Crescent, near Yonge Street and York Mills Avenue).

No suspect information has been released in either case.
