TORONTO – A home under construction in Leslieville is destroyed after a fire ripped through the building and caused damage to two other residences overnight.
The call came in just after 2:30 a.m. on Minto Avenue in the Eastern and Leslie Street area.
Officials say the fire started in a newly built house and quickly spread to the neighbouring homes.
The two people who were rescued but they did not suffer any serious injuries.
There’s no word yet on a cause of the blaze.
The Fire Marshal’s office has been called in to investigate.
