Halifax –
Nova Scotia RCMP are investigating a fatal ATV crash in Fort Lawrence that has claimed the life of a Cumberland County woman.
RCMP responded to a 911 call of an ATV crash on Lawrence Road, Fort Lawrence around 7:30 last evening.
Police say the lone occupant of the ATV was driving through a field when she lost control of the ATV. It flipped and landed on her.
The 53-year-old Fort Lawrence woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
Police say the cause of the collision is still under investigation.
