WATCH: New concussion research at UBC may change medical approach

VANCOUVER, B.C. — A team at UBC has discovered that the brain’s cognitive abilities speed up after a concussion for some young patients. Previous theories suggested the exact opposite was true. The new research could mean a change of approach for diagnosis and treatment.
