VANCOUVER – Five more people have been charged in connection with the Stanley Cup riot, three years after the event.
The Criminal Justice Branch has announced charges are being laid against Conrad Vickerson, Tauseef Merchant, Arian Shamei, Dylan Toxopeus and Robert William Harrison.
They are all accused of taking part in the riot three years ago. They are each accused of at least one other charge, including assault, arson and theft.
A total of 880 charges have been laid against 298 people.
Most of the accused have pleaded guilty.
