WATCH: Kelowna Falcons back in action with new coach

KELOWNA, B.C. – The Kelowna Falcons baseball team is gearing up for their first game of the season and the squad has undergone some big changes.

This year the team has a new coach on board as well as a line-up that consists of almost all new players, with the exception of two who are returning.

Last year, the Falcons finished the season with a disappointing 19 wins and 35 losses.

First year coach Billy Clontz says the new line-up is looking good for this season.

“We go out and try to get the best talent we can,” says Clontz. “Some guys just have the mentality and toughness and we wanted to bring them up here and attack the league by storm. We are thankful for the club we have and we are going to put a great product out on the field.”
