EDMONTON – A motorcyclist is dead after losing control of his bike on Highway 16 westbound, along the northbound exit ramp to Highway 44.
The crash happened just after 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. The victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
No other vehicle were involved in the crash. Alcohol is not suspected as a factor, however, speed is being considered.
The area will remain closed until about 7:30 p.m. as the investigation into what caused the crash continues.
The victim’s name is not being released at this time.
