The 2nd annual Women’s Well Being Expo kicks off at Cole Harbour Place on Friday. It’s a chance for women to chat about issues and concerns in their lives. There are lectures, workshops, fitness classes, entertainers and more. At 6:45 we’ll be joined by two women involved in organizing this year’s conference.

The 5th annual IWK 5K in Memory of Jessica happens June 1st in Halifax. At 7:45 we’ll find out more about Manuel family’s story and why they are hoping to raise $100,000 for the region’s largest children’s hospital this year.

He’s toured internationally and earned a pair of Juno nominations and has had his music featured prominently on television and film. He’s performing in Halifax on the weekend and Jill Chappell will find out what else he’s up to.
