UPDATE: Glover Rd at Smith Cresent has been reopened.
A woman has been flown to hospital with life threatening injuries after her car collided with a train in Langley this afternoon.
It happened just after 5 p.m. at the intersection of Smith and Glover Road.
Witnesses say the car did not stop at the stop sign at the railway crossing and was struck by the northbound train.
Traffic in the area is tied up as the train spans 216 Street, Crush Crescent and Smith at their respective intersections with Glover Road.
Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to call Langley RCMP.
