TORONTO – American Airlines can now say their economy class flights are fit for a prince—beloved Prince William, no less.

The Duke of Cambridge was in Memphis, Tennessee for friend and London night club owner Guy Pelly’s marriage to Lizzie Wilson, and flew to Dallas on Sunday.

But he wasn’t flying under the radar: Local Memphis news reporter Eli Ross documented everything from Wills boarding the plane, to seat shots while aboard, and finally the prince’s trek through the airport.

The U.K.’s Daily Mail reports the prince (and brother Harry) travel with 24/7 taxpayer-funded security officers, at an estimated price of $84,000 for the five-day trip. The Mail said during the recession the Queen urged the royal family to “show restraint and to avoid overt displays of extravagance.”
