WINNIPEG – The lunar eclipse on Monday night had Winnipeggers up late, snapping photos and then tweeting them for others’ enjoyment.
The “blood moon,” so called because of the colour the moon takes while it passes through the shadow of the Earth cast by the sun, was visible from 11:58 p.m. to 3:33 a.m. in Winnipeg.
