WINNIPEG – Several regions of central and southern Manitoba are under a Snowfall warning.

It is important to note that Environment Canada has lifted Snowfall warnings for a number of regions including the Brandon area. Snow is still expected but it will fall in lesser amounts with totals now in the 2-4 centimetre range.

For areas still under a Snowfall warning, close to 10 centimetres of snow is expected to fall in beginning Friday night, into Saturday.

Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow, and highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow, Environment Canada warned.

White areas are under a snowfall warning, which may be extended eastward later Friday. Global News
