TORONTO — He just celebrated his 18th birthday in Miami Beach — where he also spent time with Canadian pop star Justin Bieber — and on Monday Austin Mahone is making a return visit to Global’s The Morning Show.
Fans were pressed up against the studio window last June when the teen singer made his first appearance on the show.
At the time, he had nearly 3 million followers on Twitter.
Today, Mahone has nearly twice as many.
He’s set to release his debut album, The Secret, on May 27 and then embark on a summer tour (with one Canadian date so far, Aug. 13 at Toronto’s Echo Beach).
Mahone will perform the single “Mmm Yeah” at the finale of The Next Star on Sunday night in Toronto.
Monday afternoon the pop star will be at Bramalea City Centre in Brampton, Ont. for a Q&A session and a meet-and-greet with fans who pre-order The Secret.
