KELOWNA — Usually it’s the car that hits the pedestrian, but in the other way around in this situation.
Kelowna RCMP say a 53-year-old man was rushed to hospital with unspecified injuries after running into a car.
The incident happened shortly before noon Monday on Harvey Avenue at Ethel Street.
Police say that witnesses report seeing the man running across the highway when he ran into a car that was making a left-hand turn.
They say the man ran into the side of a slow-moving vehicle, striking the windshield.
The man’s injuries are said to be non-life threatening.
Police don’t say why the man was running into traffic.
