OTTAWA — Sunday marks Alison Redford’s last day as Alberta’s premier, after her own party all but forced her to resign. It’s incredible when you consider she won a majority government just 24 months ago, and it’s only one of a series of incredible news stories that popped up this week — there was also the Supreme Court decision that ruled Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s choice for a Quebec justice to sit on the highest court was ineligible.
