Suspicious Lloydminster fire leaves man in critical condition

LLOYDMINSTER, Sask. – A man is in critical condition after a fire in Lloydminster.

The fire happened in a shed located in the 4600-block of 50th Street where three people were sleeping.

A man received severe burns and was taken to the University of Alberta Hospital burn unit in critical condition.

Two women in the shed were taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor burns. Both have since been released.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation but it is being treated as suspicious.
