MEADOW LAKE, Sask. – Meadow Lake is expected to be under a precautionary boil water advisory for around a week after a water main break on Sunday.

Water was restored to normal operations Thursday along with all health services in Meadow Lake and Flying Dust First Nation.

Visitor restrictions have been lifted and regular services have resumed at Meadow Lake Hospital and Northland Pioneers Lodge.

The Prairie North Health Region is reminding people that the precautionary drinking water advisory (PDWA) remains in effect until provincial laboratory tests determine the water is safe for consumption.
