HALIFAX – Police say two people were struck in a crosswalk in Halifax in the latest accident involving pedestrians.
They say a van was turning left and hit an 18-year-old man and 21-year-old woman who were crossing in a marked crosswalk at about 4:15 p.m. Saturday.

Police say the van knocked them to the ground and they were taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Police are investigating.
The accident is one of dozens involving pedestrian and vehicle collisions in the last several months.
